Whatever happens at the racing industry’s Professional Motorsports Circuit Owners, Investors, and Suppliers Forum in New York will be memorable for Sportronix. The Atlanta-based ATDC startup has been asked to present its technology during the global business forum’s Innovation and Technology session. Sportronix is garnering attention from telecoms and broadcast media to sanctioning organizations and teams, all of which are interested in high speed analysis of sports information. Sportronix founder and CEO David Geddes believes fans are ready for something that helps them see more during a live event and share their experiences, whether on the big screen or through their personal mobile device. This vision of intelligent systems in sports is, in part, due to a close relationship with advanced software developers Applied Systems Intelligence (ASI). ASI is one of the world’s leading developers of applied artificial intelligence. ASI’s scientific team has been working with Sportronix who entered into a partner agreement for the use of its PreAct development tools. Using knowledge integration techniques and unique algorithms, Sportronix will change the way spectators interact with live event information and each other.
