REscour, a Select Company of the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC), said it raised $1.3 million in a seed round. Jason Calacanis’ Launch Fund and AngelList syndicate, and TechSquare Labs led the round in the company, which provides real estate investment professionals with accurate and continuously updated institutional-grade, multi-family listings and data.
The round also included Mosley Ventures, Tom Cousins’ Nonami Investments, Blake Okland, ARA president, and and Chip Perry, former AutoTrader.com CEO. The company will use the capital tto expand REscour’s engineering team, accelerate enterprise sales and increase awareness of the REscour platform.
“The commercial real estate industry is plagued with limited and low quality information as well as dated workflows and processes,” Jake Edens, REscour’s founder and CEO, said in a statement. “There is a huge opportunity for technology-enabled innovation and this investment will allow us to grow our engineering team, expand our data pipeline and deliver on enterprise-grade functionality.”
