Green Badger, a Savannah-based startup in the Advanced Technology Development Center’s ATDC Accelerate portfolio, won the Tumml Urban Clean Energy Prize.
Green Badger, a Software as a Service (SaaS) company that aims to provide easy-to-use, collaborative, cloud-based solutions to streamline and automate the $150 billion green building construction market.
The company is one of 5 winners nationwide of the Urban Clean Energy Prize, which supports startups with clean energy solutions for cities.
Green Badger was selected after pitching at the competition’s pre-qualifier rounds throughout August with staff from Tumml and the 11th Hour Project on how its software services contribute to urban sustainability efforts around the country.
As a winner, Green Badger will receive a $15,000 grant, hands-on consulting services and mentorship from the Tumml team and Mentorship Board, and free office space in downtown San Francisco throughout the duration of the program.
