Gozio Health, a Select Company of the Advanced Technology Development Center, said it received seed funding of $950,000 from three investors.
The company has created a smartphone-based, indoor positioning, and wayfinding platform that dramatically improves hospital visits for both the visitor and the hospital. It said it plans to utilize the funds to build out its innovation roadmap.
The company also will implement customer-requested features and expand the company’s revenue generation team, including sales operations and deployment support.
“It is not often that technology is able to directly solve real-world problems faced by millions and it takes people with vision and acumen to recognize the potential of such a solution,” Joshua Titus, Gozio Health CEO, said in a statement. “I am delighted that we have investors with these qualities, and who understand the need for Gozio Health and the benefits it offers to patients as well as hospitals and their teams.”
