Title: Product Support Engineer
Reports to: Director of Product
The position will be responsible for supporting the scale up and rollout of Rimidi’s product suite at client sites, as well as supporting the growth of the product among existing clients. A technical specialist, this person will leverage their expertise of the capabilities of Rimidi’s product in order to solve clinical and workflow problems that Rimidi’s clients face.
This role serves as an important link between the clinical team and development team at Rimidi, and requires strong technical skills, communication skills, and an understanding of clinical workflows. Previous experience with software development or technical support is required, and experience working within the healthcare ecosystem is required, with experience working with electronic medical records or healthcare data strongly preferred.
This role is a translational role, requiring proven communication skills and an ability to convey complex information to a multidisciplinary team with varied backgrounds and areas of expertise. Applicants should be interested in healthcare as a whole and improving the patient and provider experience.
Analyze customer feedback to gain deep understanding of user needs
Identify and define solutions to customer problems within the Rimidi product and ecosystem
Manage technical side of Rimidi implementations to match project goals and deliverables
Solutions architect with a broad understanding of healthcare tech and the software platform
Strong voice in product development for the needs of the client core.
Identify root causes and deficiencies of the platform through a technical lens
Prototype fixes and perform software development following the Rimidi product development lifecycle procedures
Effectively communicate features, problems to multidisciplinary teams
Reliable and clear documentation in accordance with the Rimidi product development lifecycle.
2+ years experience in information technology, software development, software technical support, or software implementation
Healthcare experience required, 3+ years of work experience
Bachelor’s degree or graduate degree in engineering, computer science, or mathematics
A long-term view on the healthcare IT landscape
Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills, especially the ability to succinctly describe issues and solutions to leadership
Working with cross functional teams to achieve common goals
