HealthTech Overview
Georgia Tech’s Healthcare Technology (HealthTech) Program at the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) proudly celebrates its one-year anniversary in 2019. NASCO — which is owned by and exclusively serves Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans across the nation — is the program’s current lead sponsor. NASCO invites all early-stage healthcare technology companies to join them in driving innovation across a wide spectrum of healthcare-focused technologies.
The ATDC Healthcare Technology Program creates a unique collaboration between a nonprofit, a university-based incubator, and major healthcare-focused firms to help launch and scale HealthTech companies in Georgia. The ATDC HealthTech program fosters innovation to address the quadruple aim of healthcare: to improve the health of populations, enhance patients’ healthcare experience, reduce the per capita cost of healthcare, and improve healthcare providers’ work-life balance.
