ATDC MentorÂ Brian McCormackÂ will lead a Customer Discovery class and 2 labs in May at Prototype Prime.Â This is a three-week intensive program split into two components: class and lab. Regular attendance is the best way to increase your chance of success. Each week, you will:
-Make assumptions about what needs to be true about your business model to succeed.
-Design tests to disprove each assumption.
-Collect data and interpret the results.
-Update your business model canvas based on what you have learned.
-Present your findings to the teaching team and receive empowering insight & positive feedback.
The Customer Discovery class provides a concentrated overview of the Customer Discovery and Development Process, Business Model Canvas, and facilitates discussions about Minimal Viable Product. By searching for and understanding customers’ real needs, startups reduce the risk of failure.
