As sponsors of the ATDC, Morris, Manning & Martin (MMM) is hosting a new Investor Series in 2018 whereby select funds will be invited to do a fireside chat. It will give ATDC’s startups an opportunity to speak with capital sources from across the country, and it will give the fund chance to market itself to the ATDC’s startups. This series will continue on June 13th  at ATDC’s Community Room with MMM moderating a discussion with AJ Nandi of Insight Partners. Seats will be limited, so preregistration is mandatory.

About AJ Nandi

AJ joined Insight in 2016. Prior to joining Insight, he worked at Middlemarch Partners, a technology focused merchant bank. He worked with clients in the e-commerce and data services space. He also spent time working with SmartyPal, a platform focused on tech-enabled early childhood education.

AJ graduated from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Economics with dual concentrations in Finance & Operations and Information Management, in addition to a minor in Computer Science.

Outside of work, AJ enjoys playing and following basketball, hiking, and music production.

    • Lexie Newhouse: Lexie Newhouse serves as Invest Atlanta’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program Manager and is responsible for innovation policy, entrepreneur workforce programs, and entrepreneurship-led economic development in the city of Atlanta. In her role, Newhouse manages award-winning entrepreneur programming including Students2Startups and Invest Atlanta Live, both recognized the International Economic Development Council (IEDC)’s Excellence in Economic Development Awards. 
    • Melody Echols: Melody Echols joined invest Atlanta in 2018, where her work has been focused on community development financing. She has previously worked on Invest Atlanta’s New Markets Tax Credit team, where she managed financing tools to support small businesses, social entrepreneurs, and high impact community development projects throughout Atlanta. In her current role as Assistant Director of Invest Atlanta’s American Rescue Plan programming, she is spearheading the efforts to support small business and workforce development, utilizing federal covid-relief funding.
