As sponsors of the ATDC, Morris, Manning & Martin (MMM) is hosting a new Investor Series whereby select funds will be invited to do a fireside chat. It will give ATDC’s startups an opportunity to speak with capital sources from across the country, and it will give the fund chance to market itself to the ATDC’s startups. Seats will be limited, so preregistration is mandatory.

About Brian Goldsmith

Brian joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2012. He invests in B2B SaaS & data services companies, in sectors such as vertical software, fintech, human resources, and compliance.

Brian works closely with portfolio company executives on team building, company strategy, financings and more. Brian also served as the interim SVP of Product Development with our portfolio company FourKites. Prior to joining Bain Capital Ventures, Brian was a management consultant at Bain & Company.

Brian graduated magna cum laude from Yale University with a degree in economics. He originally hails from Sarasota, Florida, but now lives in Boston with his wife Liz, son Wesley, and dog Crosby. In his free time, Brian enjoys whitewater kayaking, playing soccer, hiking, and cooking.

    About James "Jay" Bailey

    About Randy Brown

    Randy Brown has two areas of focus within Emory. One is working on Government Research Contracts with the Office of Sponsorship Programs. The second is expanding Emory University's Supplier Diversity and Inclusion program with small and diverse businesses. He is currently on the Executive Leadership Council and Business Diversity Council at Emory University. In addition, he is a member of The Supplier Diversity Leadership Council for Georgia Minority Supplier Diversity Council. Before joining Emory in 2020, he held positions in customer engagement, business development, procurement and was a Certified Minority Business Owner at one time.

    About Celena Matlock

    Celena is a business leader in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and partners with businesses on culture assessments and thought leadership paired with strategy on the development and execution of DEI initiatives. Previously Celena served as Executive Director of Financial Compliance at Warner Media, where she spearheaded the global function with teams across the US that focus on internal control strategy over IT and financial reporting, business process improvement and enhancing operating efficiencies, governance and reporting on Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, and addressing risks across the enterprise. Celena has also held leadership roles at Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. and Ernst & Young, LLP.
