Atlanta Startup Oasis

2019-12-14 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Alpharetta Technology Commission
Address: 2972 Webb Bridge Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30009, USA

You’ve been searching for someone to help you build your business idea, or you just need another coder to get you further. But it feels like you are roaming the desert. You find one relevant developer here and there, but as soon as you look, they are already taken by entrepreneurs just as thirsty as you are. Will you find one before time and money run out?

Luckily, you’ve made it within sight of the Oasis, and you will be on your way.

The Atlanta Startup Oasis has the best ratio of developers to entrepreneurs for any business group in all of Atlanta. We also boast a 1500 member meetup group made up of only Developers and UX Designers. Furthermore, the structure of the event is not just some networking event (you have enough business cards piled up at your place, never to be used, right?). While there may be networking for the first 30 minutes or so, it all changes after that.

At this point, you pitch your business or idea, and if a developer or UX designer is interested, he or she will raise his or her hand. You may get multiple. From there, you form a group and find another area. Once situated, you and your team can get down to business. There can be on-boarding, setting up the Trello or GitHub, and perhaps actual coding. Whether this partnership lasts a day or a lifetime, you are going to gain significant value.
