About Martin Herbst
Martin is the General Manager for eBay Classifieds Group APAC, including Gumtree Australia, the countryâs leading classifieds marketplace and #1 shopping app. He first started at eBay as a strategy manager for eBay Classifieds Group (eCG) in 2006, followed by GM of eCGâs U.S. business. He took a break from eCG to lead strategy and operations for PayPal Mobile but decided to return in 2012 to follow his passion for running a marketplace business.
