Developing new products and services is critical in our world today. Often, though, entrepreneurs and small companies struggle to obtain the necessary funding to advance their technologies to the point where they can help solve these important problems. The Federal Government might be an appropriate funding source, but not all funding can be used for all activities, so you must understand the opportunities available, which are best for your company, and when to pursue this funding source.

Join Connie Casteel, the ATDC SBIR/STTR/Federal Funding expert, as she describes how companies can leverage government funding opportunities to help mature technologies into viable products.

    Presentation topics will include:

    · Types of federal funding

    · Sources of funding

    · Tips on identifying the right funding opportunities

    · Overview of SBIR and STTR programs, “America’s largest seed fund”

    · Eligibility requirements to qualify for funding opportunities

    · How ATDC can help you navigate and coach you through the proposal process

    · Next steps in pursuing federal funding

More than any other topic, when an ATDC company wants to talk marketing they want to talk content marketing. Part of the reason is because it's a broad topic. White papers, Clubhouse, YouTube, social and so much more. How do you create the content? How do you best distribute the content? What's the best cadence?

Do you feel a little overwhelmed by it all? Good news is you're not alone. Most ATDC companies want to do it more (or at all), but get stuck starting.

As the kids on YouTube say, "let's talk about that." We're going to host a portfolio-only roundtable to about ideas for starting and improving your content marketing strategy.

Join us and share your thoughts and learn from others trying to do it right.

Does your startup have physical products in its vision? Does it face the 'build it' challenge? Does it need to build prototypes? Products? Does it need to build manufacturing processes? Does it need support or access to big ticket tooling and facilities in order to build? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then the Product Circle may be for you. Come and participate in this discussion among peers, whether your product is in the idea stage or has already entered the market. This circle is also an excellent entry point to learn about the myriad of lab facilities available at Georgia Tech for use by startups.

Vince Anido with BarMinder will facilitate this Circle
