
As any entrepreneur will attest, starting a company means having to be committed to working hard and putting in a lot of hours.
Jewel Burks, co-founder and CEO of Partpic, a startup company incubating at Georgia Tech’s Advanced Technology Development Center, explains why she works more than 100 hours week between her startup and as as an Entrepreneur in Residence for diversity markets at Google.
“I work a lot,” Burks said in an interview with Business Insider. “Nights, weekends. It’s tough, but I’m really passionate about helping other entrepreneurs, so it doesn’t really feel like work. It’s something I love doing.”
