Rimidi Diabetes, an Atlanta-based digital health company that brings to market data analytics and disease management solutions, said it is working with the Healthbox Florida Studio in Partnership with GuideWell Innovation, an eight-week studio at the new GuideWell Innovation CoRE™ (Collaborative Resource Ecosystem) space in Lake Nona Medical City, Fla.
Rimidi Diabetes, a startup in the Advanced Technology Development Center’s ATDC Signature portfolio of companies, empowers healthcare systems to deliver more efficient care to patients with diabetes, improve patient quality of life, and decrease the financial burden of the disease to the system and patients.
“We were honored to be selected for this program that recognizes innovative and transformative companies in healthcare,” said Dr. Lucie Ide, Rimidi CEO. “The program is helping us accelerate our business strategy and position us for future long-term growth through mentorship and high-level industry connections.”
The Healthbox Florida Studio in Partnership with GuideWell Innovation assists the companies’ founders in refining their value proposition to drive traction and diagnose critical business needs. The entrepreneurs also receive access to a GuideWell Innovation mentor and other industry experts throughout the studio program.
“GuideWell Innovation was created to transform the health industry by rapidly accelerating health innovation and developing impactful solutions,” said Renee Finley, head of GuideWell Innovation. “These 11 companies are representative of the future of healthcare and the innovative ideas essential to its transformation.”
This is the fourth year GuideWell Innovation has partnered with Healthbox, which previously activated healthcare technology and entrepreneurial ecosystems in Jacksonville, Tampa, and Miami. Through the partnership, 23 early-stage companies participated in Healthbox programs and benefited from GuideWell Innovation’s expertise, network, and commitment to driving innovation.
