Greenlight, the financial technology (FinTech) company behind the Greenlight smart debit card for kids, was named to CB Insights’ Fintech 250 list.
The list — which include those in the capital markets, insurance, and banking spaces — is comprised of those companies seen as the most promising worldwide.
Greenlight, founded in 2014, is a 2018 graduate of the Advanced Technology Development Center program at Georgia Tech. To date, the company tased raised $27.5 million from investors.
Greenlight’s offering is focused on improving children’s financial literacy and understanding of budgeting through a debit card solution supported by a mobile app that features an exclusive set of parental controls.
