The Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) is pleased to announce two of its companies, Gozio Health and Patientory, as well as a former program member, Zywie, are the Technology Association of Georgia’s (TAG) 2017 Heath Tech Upstarters.
The companies will be celebrated at an unveiling ceremony at the Health IT Leadership Summit VIP Reception. The reception is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 6 at the Atlanta Tech Village’s rooftop, 3423 Piedmont Road NE in Atlanta.
The companies named will be featured in the Upstarter section of TAG’s upcoming Hub Magazine-The Health Innovation Issue.
The reception precedes the Health IT Leadership Summit on Nov. 7. The Summit, which ATDC is sponsoring as a gold sponsor, brings together leaders from various fields in the healthcare sector to discuss how the industry can drive innovation to enable better and cost-effective healthcare to more people.
ATDC Signature company Florence Healthcare and ATDC Accelerate company, TQ Intelligence will be serving on two different panels at the Summit.
Gozio Health, which is an ATDC Signature portfolio company, has created a smartphone based, indoor positioning and wayfinding platform that dramatically improves hospital visits for both the visitor and the hospital.
The company was recently awarded a Platinum 2017 eHealthcare Leadership Award at the Healthcare Internet Conference.
Patientory is a provider of blockchain solutions for healthcare and is a startup in ATDC’s Accelerate portfolio. It raised $7.2 million in three days with the proceeds being used to build Patientory’s electronic medical record storage platform.
