All are invited to attend the finals of the 2015 Georgia Tech Startup Competition on March 9.
Watch 12 amazing teams of Georgia Tech entrepreneurs as they compete for $40,000 in prize money in the competition, which is presented by Georgia Tech’s VentureLab and sponsored by the Institute’s Scheller College of Business.
The 2015 Georgia Tech Startup Competition pits teams of Georgia Tech graduate students in a contest to find a great startup business. Formerly the Business Plan Competition, the all-new competition focuses on discovering a market opportunity and creating an innovative business model to address it. There is no written business plan. No financial projections. No investor pitch. It is all about each team working together to define a compelling startup.
If you want to see what a startup journey looks like, watch the teams as they present their work to find a compelling business model. Bonus points will be awarded for creativity, so it should be a lot of fun.
The event is scheduled March 9 in the LeCraw Auditorium at the Scheller College of Business, 800 West Peachtree St. in Atlanta. The finals will kick off with a reception at 6:30 p.m., followed by the program at 7:30 p.m. For more information: http://startup.gatech.edu/startup_competition/
