Endgame Systems, an ATDC company, has raised $29 million in first-round funding from a consortium of venture capital firms including Atlanta-based TechOperators. Endgame Systems is a cybersecurity services provider that helps organizations protect sensitive information from emerging cyberspace threats.
Last week, the company released its groundbreaking product ipTrust, a cybersecurity service that can monitor an organization’s network from the outside. Existing security systems require organizations to install software and provide access to their network. Engame’s great leap forward in security thinking has removed this constraint with the launch of their flagship product.
ipTrust is an IP reputation service that detects botnets and malware in the cloud and does not need network access to determine whether a system is compromised. Organizations with systems already overloaded with software and an interest in protecting highly sensitive or classified information are Endgame Systems target customers.
Organizations can apply to a free beta of the ipTrust service at www.iptrust.com.
Endgame’s founding team includes Chris Rouland, Daniel Ingevaldson, and David Miles who worked together on the legendary X-Force research team before moving up in the Internet Security System management ranks. Tom Noonan former Chairman, President, and CEO of ISS, was an initial investor and serves as Chairman of Endgame.
We can’t wait to see what they can do with a $29 Million check.
