Sterling Wharton, ATDC Entrepreneur-in-Residence
Sterling is a successful high-technology entrepreneur with Sales, Partner Development, Executive and CEO experience in a number of startups and a growth companies over the past 20 years. Sterling has held CEO roles and senior management positions at Unitrends, Nortel Networks, Alteon WebSystems, Network Equipment Technologies, SofNet, Telebit Corporation and AT&T. Results include 2 IPO’s and 3 high value mergers.
Glenn McGonnigle, Former Chairman & CEO, Vistascape Security Systems
As President and CEO of Atlanta-based VistaScape Security Systems, McGonnigle raised over $20 million in financing and led its successful sale to Siemens. Previously, McGonnigle was a co-founder and senior executive of Atlanta-based Internet Security Systems where, for 7 years, he led the business development team. Prior to ISS, he was President and co-founder of Data Integrity Services Corporation, an early-stage provider of WAN-based data management services.
Lance Weatherby, ATDC Venture Catalyst
As a Venture Catalyst, Lance Weatherby works primarily with new media and Internet focused ATDC member companies. Lance has been involved with the Atlanta technology community for over 11 years. Lance spent several years heading business development and marketing at MindSpring. He has also held key executive management roles with CipherTrust and EarthLink.
