Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX), a supply chain automator in the medical sector, said it will acquire Atlanta-based Vendormate, an ATDC Graduate Company.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but Louisville, Colo.-based GHX said it expects to close the deal within 30 days.
Vendormate helps streamline the procurement cycle between healthcare providers and their suppliers.
In a statement, GHX said Vendormate adds relationship management capabilities to its procure-to-pay solutions portfolio.
“Healthcare is at a critical juncture and providers are facing increased demands in complying with the rising number of reimbursement-related regulations,” GHX CEO Bruce Johnson said. “Bringing the Vendormate solutions for company and rep credentialing into the GHX portfolio gives providers and suppliers even greater opportunities to work together to improve the cost and quality of healthcare.”
The company said it would operate Vendormate as a wholly owned subsidiary.
“This is a great opportunity for Vendormate customers, many of whom are also GHX customers,” Vendormate CEO Andy Monin said.
“The combination of GHX and Vendormate allows them to do business with a partner who can help solve even more of their supply chain and vendor management problems, while improving their total cost and operational performance.”
