Congratulations to Nina Sawczuk for her promotion to Director of Startup Services and Program Director for the Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University. Under Nina’s leadership, ATDC expanded, the EIR program and Startup Circles were launched and the new Industry and Customer Connect program was implemented.
We are fortunate that one of our current Executives-in-Residence (EIRs) has stepped up to help us during the transition. Effective November 1, Blake Patton will serve as Interim General Manager of ATDC.
“We owe many thanks to Nina for her stewardship over the last two years of ATDC,” said Blake. “With Nina’s background in biotech and startups, the Coulter program is lucky to have her.”
A 1993 graduate of Georgia Tech, Blake has a distinguished career as an entrepreneur and will participate in the national search for a permanent General Manager.
