In 2015, the city of Peachtree Corners partnered with Georgia Tech’s Enterprise Innovation Institute to investigate the community’s readiness for an incubator program, and what they found was hundreds of excited, eager entrepreneurs, business owners, investors, community leaders, and citizens.
In response to this demand, the city of Peachtree Corners is excited to announce a continuing partnership with Georgia Tech’s Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) which will bring nationally-recognized education and resources for the city’s startups. The development of the Peachtree Corners incubator (name to be unveiled at the event) will not only help support early startups but also encourage those entrepreneurs to stay in the same community, creating jobs and increase local sales revenue.
Join the entrepreneurial energy in Peachtree Corners by RSVPing to the incubator’s Pre-Launch Sneak Peek on May 25. Click here for more details.
The evening will include a discussion of the incubator space lead by Sanjay Parekh, founder of StartupRiot and associate director of Create-X, as well as a talk about the building of a design studio led by Shane Matthews, ATDC’s Maker-in-Residence. The evening will conclude with a networking reception for local entrepreneurs, and sign-ups for early membership to the incubator will be available.
Peachtree Corners becomes the newest community to partner with ATDC for an incubation program. In addition to ATDC @ Peachtree Corners, there is ATDC @ Savannah, ATDC @ Augusta, and ATDC @ Athens.
