Forty percent of the startups named to the Technology Association of Georgia’s (TAG) Top 40 Innovative Technology Companies in Georgia list, are current portfolio companies, alumni, or former members of the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC).
TAG’S Top 40 Awards recognize Georgia-based technology companies for their innovation, financial impact, and their efforts at spreading awareness of the state’s technology initiatives throughout the U.S. and abroad.
ATDC is the state of Georgia’s technology incubator and serves entrepreneurs across the state to help them develop their startups into viable and successful companies.
“The Top 40 awards recognize and honor the best and brightest Georgia companies who are leading the way in innovation and impact,” Larry K. Williams, TAG president and CEO, said in a statement. “Each year TAG recognizes the companies who are keeping Georgia’s technology ecosystem in the global spotlight and helping to grow and advance our state’s technology strengths.”
ATDC portfolio companies, alumni, and former members on the list include:
- Azalea Health
- Blue Fetch
- Clean Hands Safe Hands
- NuGen Systems
“We not only work with entrepreneurs to help them scale successful companies, but that the technologies that they bring forth have meaningful impact in a host of sectors ranging from health technology to information security to financial technology,” said ATDC Assistant Director Jane McCracken. “We are extremely proud of our companies being recognized among Georgia’s best.”
This year’s Top 40 were selected from more than 100 applications submitted by companies from across Georgia. Companies selected for the “Top 40” will be showcased in an exhibition at The Summit 2019 on Feb. 11 and 12, 2019. (Register here: tagsummit.com).
