Skyraider Aeronautics, an Augusta-based startup, has been accepted in the Advanced Technology Development Center’s ATDC Accelerate program.
Skyraider Aeronautics utilizes the latest technology in unmanned aerial systems (UAS) to provide companies with solutions to improve their business. Skyraider Aeronautics specializes in advanced precision agricultural solutions, as well as consultation aimed to implement UAS programs through training, process and data management, and fleet logistics. The company also provides drone services to the film production and sporting events industries, as well as the real estate sector.
A state-funded program of the Georgia Institute of Technology, ATDC is Georgia’s technology incubator. ATDC works with entrepreneurs across the state and those companies accepted into ATDC Accelerate receive coaching and an educational curriculum designed to accelerate customer acquisition and product development.
Startups that apply to join ATDC Accelerate are early-stage companies that have developed a minimal viable product (MVP) and have begun refining product-market fit.
“We are excited to become an ATDC Accelerate company and tap into the deep pool of talent and experience ATDC has to offer startups,” said Dan Scheiner, Skyraider Aeronautics’ CEO and co-founder. “As a young company, we look forward to working closely with ATDC’s staff, mentors, and advisors, meeting with investors, and tapping into the research expertise of Georgia Tech to help our company grow and succeed.”
