Forbes magazine named Partpic co-founder Jewel Burks to its “30 Under 30” list of disruptive entrepreneurs who are trailblazers in their respective industries.

Partpic, a Signature company of the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC), allows people to find item replacement parts they need by taking a picture with their mobile devices.

The 26-year-old Burks, who is the company’s chief executive, co-founded Partpic with Jason Crain, its chief operating officer.

Forbes’ Class of 2016 is comprised of 600 entrepreneurs who are leaders in 20 different business sectors, including Burks, who is noted for being a leader in the manufacturing and industry space.

The recognition is the latest in a string of accolades the company has received since being founded in 2013.

In the summer of 2015, Burks and Crain were invited to Washington and met President Barack Obama as part of the inaugural White House Demo Day.

Partpic also announced in 2015 it raised $1.5 million in seed funding from angel investors and venture capitalists and won a $100,000 investment from AOL founder Steve Case during his Rise of the Rest tour.

The South By Southwest Accelerator Showcase also gave Partpic the best Enterprise and Smart Data Technologies award in 2015, which came with a $4,000 prize.
