REscour raises $1.5 million from angel investor

REscour, a Signature company of the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC), said it received a $1.5 million capital investment from Silicon Valley angel investor Chamath Palihapitiya.

REscour provides real estate investment professionals with accurate and continuously updated institutional-grade multi-family listings, data, and other relevant information.

Palihapitiya, who had been vice president of user growth at Facebook, now leads the Social+Capital Partnership. His investment follows the Atlanta-based startup’s March 2015 announcement that it received $1.3 million in a seed round of funding.

REscour said it will put Palihapitiya’s investment toward sales and marketing and new product development.
