The SBIR program is due to expire in less than 40 days …

On August 15th the SBA has proposed an increase in award amounts from $100,000 to $150,000 for Phase I and from $750,000 to $1M for Phase II.  These are the same award amounts that were passed in the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee three weeks ago.

The SBA is requesting public commentary by September 15, 2008.  To submit a comment go to the Federal Rulemaking Portal: www.regulations.gov and follow the instructions for submitting comments.
