SBIR/STTR

SBIR Georgia, an ATDC program, assists Georgia’s technology companies in applying for SBIR/STTR awards, which are used for research and development of technologically innovative products and services.

Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Innovation Research Technology Transfer (STTR) grants and contracts are awarded by 11 different federal agencies, from the Department of Defense to the National Institutes of Health, to prove the feasibility of translating a technological innovation into a commercial product.  These awards are made directly to a small business concern (SBC), as defined by the SBA, and are used exclusively for research and development on a defined product.

SBIR Georgia hosts the SBIR Circle the first and third Thursday of the month.  Check out the events calendar for upcoming dates.

Connie Casteel hosts office hours for SBIR assistance. All clients are required to attend an SBIR Circle event prior to scheduling office hours.
