Startup Boot Camp is available to Savannah area founders of technology and product based startups. The program is based on the lean startup model and is designed to lead entrepreneurs through the concept to launch of their product. The interactive program will help entrepreneurs identify and vet their target customers, articulate their value proposition, make financial projections, and prepare them for seeking investment. Participants will also have access to ATDC mentors during the class, which will provide both guidance and connections to resources. Check out the past participants to hear their stories.
The courses are designed to be a combination of classroom-style training and workshops to educate and move you forward on your journey. The 12 workshops encompass ATDC’s Entrepreneurs’ Education Series, which prepares entrepreneurs for ascent and learn best practices through interactive classes and workshops. An experienced entrepreneur and ATDC mentor will teach each workshop. The Savannah workshops will be taught by mentors from Savannah and Atlanta. At the end of the bootcamp, participants will pitch at a demo day attended by the public and showcase their company or ideas. The winner of the pitch event will receive $10,000 cash prize from SEDA.

Customer Discovery is a unique concentrated program for founders of concept stage startups to help them begin interacting with customers early in the development of their company. Program participants will develop an action plan to engage with customers, a positioning statement, market sizing data and a product development plan.
FINANCIAL LITERACY FOR STARTUPS
Financial Literacy for Startups will teach founders the how to thoroughly understand the economics of their business. We will teach terminology that investors expect you to know, understand and use. We will discuss the financial model and the underlying assumptions and lastly, we will dive into your business’s financial model.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY WORKSHOP
As an early-stage startup, the most important and most overlooked document is the one-pager. Angel investors, strategic partners, prospective co-founders will read this doc and make a decision on whether to invest/partner/join. During this workshop, we review Best Practices for your Executive Summary and work with coaches to nail the Executive Summary.
Two part workshop. Focused on the final steps (following Customer Discovery, Financial Literacy and Executive Summary) to get ready to talk to investors. Part I – The Art of the Pitch. Part II – Term Sheets & Due Diligence.

Workshops are held one morning per week for 12 weeks. Workshops include a presentation by an ATDC mentor followed by a founders’ circle where each participant will discuss an issue they are working on at that moment. At least two mentors will attend each workshop. Each workshop is scheduled to last two hours, but participants and mentors are welcome to stay longer and talk.
COFFEE HOUR AND MENTOR MEETINGS:
Gather for coffee and conversation (almost) every Friday with fellow founders and mentors. Each participant will sign up for one-on-one meetings at coffee hour with one mentor every Friday. This will give the participants a chance to get advice on specific questions and challenges they face, as well as benefit from the mentors’ connections.
BOOT CAMP MENTORS
Each bootcamp will include four to five mentors who are proven entrepreneurs and can offer advice and help connect founders to resources. Mentors will participate in workshops and attend coffee hour and mentor meetings.
