ATDC Mentors

The road a startup travels is difficult.  Why not share the journey with someone who’s been there/done that? To be successful, ATDC believes it is very important to have a mentor, someone with more experience, perhaps someone who is where or what you want to be one day.

The ATDC Mentor Program pairs your startup with experienced entrepreneurs and executives whose sole objective is to get you closer to your goals.  Our mentors are hand-picked, bona fide experts at business.  They’ve started companies, hired staff, raised funding, and managed growth and exits.  They bring those unique insights that only real-world experience can teach.   In short, we think they’re terrific, and they’re eager to help you succeed.

How do you meet them?  Several ways.

Open Office Hours. The mentors will be holding open office hours, just like our catalysts do.  Just like the catalysts’ office hours, as an ATDC member you can book a time slot with any available mentor.  Take a look at the list, find one that looks promising, and book away.

Brown Bags. Throughout the year, we will be holding a series of Brown Bags, led by our mentors, on a wide array of topics that matter to all startups.  Coming to these free classes is a great way to get to know the mentors and to let them begin to know you. Brown Bags will take place on a bi-weekly basis the first and third Wednesday of each month. The Brown Bag schedule kicks off this Wednesday with mentors Sandy Hofmann and Nick Farsi presenting on how to sell to senior technology buyers.

Circles. Our mentors will be dropping in on all of our regularly scheduled circle meetings.  If you don’t know about circles, you need to learn more about this fantastic resource.  Meeting a mentor at a circle ensures that you both have overlapping interests.

The Good Old Fashioned Way. Your catalyst will be happy to arrange a personal introduction for you to any mentor or you can simply contact us.
