DOT Releases FY08.2 SBIR Solicitation

The Department of Transportation released their FY08.2 SBIR Solicitaiton.  While not many topics, if you can solve their specific problems, thier money is just as green as any other agency’s:

• 082-FH1 Dilemma Zone Detection and Warning System
• 1082-FH2 Origin-Destination – Travel Time Measurement and Characterization
• 1082-FR1 Cursory and Non-regulatory Removable Safety Appliances for Intermodal or Semi-Permanently Attached Railcars

Phase I research = $100,000 and 6 months

Proposals are due Septemer 5th.
