Top 100 VC Firms
Every year Entrepreneur Magazine compiles a list of the most active venture capital firms in the country, ranking them by number of deals. The latest list, which reflects total deals completed in 2006, included two Atlanta firms: Accuitive Medical Ventures and Total Technology Ventures.

Even more interesting is that an Economic Development group (Maryland) is #1 and that angel groups occupy #3, #9, #10 in the "Early Stage" group and that an ANGEL group is #1 in the "Later Stage group.
